Consulting Masterclass Free · 45 min

A free taste of the program before you enroll. We'll cover what consulting actually is and how firms recruit for it, walk through a live demo case (sizing Indira Gandhi International Airport's annual passenger volume, step by step), go over the common mistakes that sink most candidates, and give you an honest look at how the live sessions actually run.

01
Sat · Aug 8, 2026

Market Sizing

Structure and estimate any market or quantity from scratch, building on the demo from Session 0. You'll learn how to break a big, ambiguous number into a clean formula, make and defend assumptions on the spot, and sanity-check your final estimate before you say it out loud.

02
Sun · Aug 9, 2026

Conventional Frameworks I & Clarifying Questions

Learn the 7-step case framework, understand, clarify, structure, analyze, calculate, recommend, and cover risks and next steps, and practice asking the clarifying questions that set up a case before you touch a single number. This session also covers profitability cases, one of the most common types you'll face.

03
Sat · Aug 15, 2026

Conventional Frameworks II

Go deeper into growth strategy, market entry, and M&A case structures, the frameworks interviewers use to test how you'd advise a client on entering a new market, growing revenue, or evaluating a deal.

04
Sun · Aug 16, 2026

Exhibit Analysis & Recommendations

Read a chart, table, or exhibit the way a consultant does, pull out the one insight that actually matters, and turn it into a clear, defensible recommendation instead of a vague summary.

05
Sat · Aug 22, 2026

Unconventional Cases

Handle pricing, operations, and supply chain cases, plus the offbeat, non-standard prompts interviewers save for the final round to see how you think on your feet.

06
Sat · Aug 29, 2026

HR & Personal Interview Prep Support · 45 min

The personal interview questions consulting firms rely on most, from "walk me through your resume" to "why consulting," and how to answer them with a clear, structured story instead of a memorized script.

07
Sun · Aug 30, 2026

Tailoring Your CV Support · 45 min

Turn a generic resume into one built for consulting recruiting. We'll go line by line on how to reframe your experience, cut the clutter, and highlight what firms actually screen for.

"I like bridging rigorous analysis with real world impact. To me, every problem is just a puzzle worth solving."
Meet Your Instructor

Taught by someone who does this for a living

Lai Pandey studied Economics & Computer Science at Bocconi University. Lai also works as a private equity specialist at a Big Four firm, helping investors stress test businesses before they buy.

The defining chapter of Lai's consulting journey, though, was Roland Berger's Summer Associate program in Dubai. Lai was the only bachelor's student selected for that highly competitive cohort, and worked on a real project for NEOM in Saudi Arabia, real strategy work delivered under real client pressure.

After being selected into the Bocconi Students Consulting Club, one of the toughest clubs on campus to join with an 8% acceptance rate, Lai founded The CaseRoom to mentor students through case interviews. A number of them have gone on to convert full time offers.

Why The CaseRoom

Give yourself the best shot at the offer you want

Live, not recorded

Every session runs live, so you can ask questions mid-case and get feedback on your structure as you go.

Small batch

Cohorts stay small enough that you get real facetime with your instructor across all seven sessions.

Real consulting cases

Every case and exhibit comes from actual client engagements, so you're practicing on the real thing.

Frameworks that actually stick

You'll walk out with frameworks you can use in the room, not theory you'll have to relearn under pressure.

Personal guidance

Get direct input on your resume, your story, and how to answer "why consulting?" convincingly.

Lifetime resources*

Keep the consulting notes, interview guide, and practice cases long after the last session ends.

What Students Say

Hear it from the ones who cracked it

I thought I already knew case frameworks from watching interviews online, turns out I did not. The market sizing session broke it down in a way that finally made sense, and by the third session I could build a structure without freezing up.

The feedback here is not the usual "good structure, keep it up" stuff. Lai would tell me exactly where my logic fell apart and how an actual interviewer would react to it. Uncomfortable at first, but that is what got me ready.
RD
Rahul Dev Kumar
IIM Kozhikode
I actually did the one on one coaching instead of a group batch, and it felt completely different from any prep I had tried before. Lai built the sessions entirely around my weak spots, mostly market entry cases, and pushed me on the same case type from three different angles until it actually stuck. Having someone dedicated just to your prep changes everything.

Francesco Lamesso

Two failed case interviews before I joined this program. The exhibit analysis session changed how I actually read data under pressure. Three weeks after the batch ended, I had my offer.
PG

I nearly skipped the free session because it clashed with a deadline. So glad I rearranged my week for it. Watching the airport sizing case get solved live was the moment case interviews stopped feeling like some abstract skill I would never get.
HS
Hana Shiraishi

I came in with zero finance background and cost structures used to genuinely confuse me. By the last session I was the one explaining profitability trees to my friends before their interviews.
